CEO Water and Wastewater Kermanshah Province announced: "Assembly and organization of Kermanshah city sewer needs 600 to 700 billion USD credit."

 AR Takhtshahy referring to the poor condition of sewage in Kermanshah, said: now about 145 thousand cubic meters of wastewater a day in the city of Kermanshah is produced. He declared that the current wastewater treatment plant in the city of Kermanshah is less than 40 percent and noted: the rest of the wastewater enters the treatment process, but the treatment is not complete and forced the evacuation of part of it into the city's rivers. He added: current Kermanshah sewage treatment plant has the capacity of 70 to 75 thousand cubic meters of wastewater treatment per day. CEO Water and Wastewater Kermanshah province believes, organizing Kermanshah's sewrage including construction of wastewater treatment plant, collection network, transmission lines, pumping stations and so on, needs a total of about 600 to 700 billion USD credit. In his opinion, the only way to absorb this amount of credit is using finance, he also added: in this regard, consultations with Asian infrastructure investment bank were done. With these efforts, we were able to get agreement of economy minister and energy minister to consider organizing Kermanshah's sewrage as country's first priority, and the bank's experts came to the province. Takhtshahy in another part of his speech regarding the use of treated waste of sewer, added: produced wastewater can be used to downstream irrigation, horticulture, aquaculture, industry, irrigation of green spaces and so on.
